'Save home', the examination of the decree by the Chamber

The measure was approved by the Government and published in the Official Journal

ROME – The process of the so-called home-saving decree it contains will start from the Chamber urgent provisions regarding building and urban planning simplification.This was announced in the Chamber today by the current president of the Montecitorio Assembly, Fabio Rampelli, during a 'flash' session for communications to deputies on the June calendar.The decree, strongly supported by the deputy prime minister and leader of the League Matteo Salvini, was approved by the Council of Ministers last May 24th.After publication in the Official Journal, on 29 May, the President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, authorized the presentation of the provision to the Chambers.

The decree therefore entered into force on 29 May.From the following day private individuals and PAs can request the building permit and Scia in amnesty and can also obtain it with silent consent for interventions carried out by May 24th.The rules were designed to rregularise small building discrepancies, minor abuses such as partitions or windows positioned differently than authorized.
