How to Close a Balloon

Closing a balloon can be more difficult than it seems.Here are two simple ways to do it.

Method 1

Method 1 of 2:

Pinch the base of the balloon with the thumb, index and middle fingers of your weak hand (usually the one you don't write with).

Stretch it several times to make sure you can wrap it around the first two fingers of the hand you are holding it with, leaving some space at the end.
- If the end isn't long enough to wrap around your fingers, use your other hand to push the air out of the balloon.If the balloon is inflated to its maximum capacity, gently release a small amount of air.

Method 2 of 2:

Pinch the base of the balloon with the fingers of your weak hand, as in method 1.
This will create a small opening.Pass the free end of the balloon through the opening.

If the end of the balloon is too short, stretch it with your finger several times to tie the knot.
