NAPLES - "We are setting up 4 areas to welcome citizens, with basic comfort items and psychologists to assist the population."The mayor of Pozzuoli, Gigi Manzoni, announced it with a video published on his Facebook profile. After the earthquakes of magnitude 3.5, 4.4 and 3.9 recorded in the Phlegraean area and in Naples at 7.51pm, 8.10pm and 9.46pm he informed his fellow citizens to be “at work with great attention and commitment”.

The areas of the municipality designated for reception are the Palatrincone, the C9 car park in via Vecchia delle Vigne, the piazza a Mare and the Largo palazzine.“It is a special moment for our community.We must remain united and compact.All together – Manzoni's words – we can do a lot to get out of this."
