ROME – The conference entitled “Water between risks and opportunities:build the connected future of energy and water with Renael", in the setting of the Environment Park in Turin towards Planet Week in view of the G7 Climate, Energy and Environment meeting scheduled from 28 to 30 April at the Reggia
of Venaria.
The objective of the conference was to delve deeper into the importance of water in a world increasingly afflicted by extreme weather events.At the center of the debate are the challenges of adaptation and mitigation, but above all the innovative initiatives to develop resilient urban ecosystems also thanks to new technologies such as artificial intelligence.Building the connected future of energy and water:“Due to the drought we have a quantity of photovoltaic systems equal to a third of the surface area of Milan less,” said Benedetta Brighenti, director of the National Network of Local Energy Agencies (Renael) and climate pact ambassador of the European Commission, during a talk at Envi Park in Turin on the occasion of Planet Week in view of the G7 environment, climate and energy under the Italian presidency.

Guido Castelli, special government commissioner for the 2016 earthquake reconstruction during the works of the National Network of Local Energy Agencies (RENAEL) at Planet Week then announced "seven million euros of investments for the detection of underground services in the crater area so as to intervene on water leaks”.
