The Rome Marathon Expo Village inaugurated, Gualtieri:“The Capital will be at the center of the world”

On Sunday the race, for the first time dedicated to water, with educational messages aimed at young people on the use of water resources

ROME – The Acea Run Rome The Marathon Expo Village was inaugurated this morning at the Palazzo dei Congressi in Eur.Present at the ribbon cutting were Roberto Gualtieri, Mayor of Roma Capitale, Alessandro Onorato, Councilor for Major Events, Sport and Tourism and Fashion of Roma Capitale, Niccolò Mornati, Summer Sports, Active Lifestyle and Business Development Director Infront Italy, Daniele Quinzi, Director Marketing Corriere dello Sport – Stadium, Nicola Ferrante, President of Italia Marathon Club, Roberto Ciancim President of Atielle, Virman Cusenza, Acea Communications Director, Mauro Conti, Joma Italia.There will be two days, today and tomorrow, of entertainment and activities dedicated to sport and well-being, within the 4,500m2 exhibition area, with more than one hundred exhibitors.The village, a real home of the marathon, in this edition dedicated to water, is open to everyone, not only to participants but also to sports enthusiasts and visitors.With the claim 'runforwater', this year the sporting event wants to underline even more the fundamental role of water, for life, the planet and also for sport.Along the over 42 km of the race, on Sunday Acea will guarantee various refreshment points, with around 60 thousand liters of water available to the athletes and over 100 thousand biocompostable glasses, with a view to the circular economy.Themes that will be protagonists not only in Sunday's race but also in the Acea stand inside the village.
