White season Tarvisio, +13.6% in admissions

Bini:"30 million invested in promotion in the three-year period 2024-2026"

TRIESTE – The fourth Sunday of January in the ski resort of Tarvisio (Udine) records a 13.6% increase in first entries and +17.1% in passages compared to the same period of the 2022-23 winter season.The councilor for Productive Activities of Friuli Venezia Giulia highlights this in a note, Sergio Emidio Bini, who today took stock of investments in Tarvisio.The growth of white tourism in the Tarvisio ski area, he explains, is the result of investments in promotion, in the facilities and in the territory, made together with the operational arm of PromoturismoFvg. “By adding up what we put on the ground during the last legislature and what we will make available in the three-year period 2024-26, we exceed 30 million euros”. In detail, the plan envisages, continues the councillor, "the complete lighting of the Di Prampero slope for 3.8 million euros and numerous other interventions which also include the Lazzaro slope (one million euros), the reconstruction of the Valle cable car (half a million), the variations of track A, again for half a million euros - he adds -, the redevelopment of the upstream station of the Lussari cable car for 850 thousand euros.Works which total over 17 million euros and which also include the summer development of the Angel".

Bini recalls how the fruits that are harvested in all the winter sports centers visited to date in this 2023-24 season are "the result of an action strongly desired by the Region, which with clarity of intent, has enhanced the beauties of a unique territory, full of potential in some ways not yet fully expressed".The watchwords that guide the Region in a "new tourism", concludes the councilor, they are "sustainability, proximity, offers for the whole family and in particular for the little ones, diversification of the proposals, all of quality and at decidedly competitive prices".
