ROME – Vandana Shiva, political activist and environmentalist, the best-known theorist of social ecology, holds four online meetings to talk, without filters, about how our behaviors are destroying the planet and how to be influential and decisive so that the right message is transmitted on social media.We live in a society invaded by plastic and petroleum products.Our daily habits are destroying the planet's ecosystem, putting life on planet Earth at risk.The network of plastic-free schools, which includes the meetings with Vandana Shiva, was born precisely from the need to educate future generations to invent all possible ways to replace the use of plastic with alternative materials, sustainable and eco-compatible, encouraging the creativity of students and children as a tool for changing the habits of adults.

THE KEYWORD IS SHARING

Free and open to all to allow as many people as possible to listen and interact with Vandana Shiva out loud, the main recipients of these meetings are above all students who will acquire specific skills ondigital civic education, with particular attention to fact-checking and debunking fake news, directly from the most famous environmental influencer in the world.So that they can, in turn, become trainers for the categories affected by the digital divide or who need to be made aware of digital issues, such as the elderly and very young, in order to create a virtuous circle of sharing skills and experiences.
