“Ecological Sundays, established as measures that contribute to the reduction of air pollution, are an important opportunity to raise awareness on the issues of environmental sustainability and on the actions necessary to limit polluting emissions and improve the quality of the air we breathe.Fundamental actions for the protection of our health and for compliance with European directives to achieve the climate neutrality objectives set for 2050.That's why, as we did with the 'Blue Saturday, there day dedicated to urban walking last October 14th, we want to involve citizens on traffic stop Sundays, making them also days of collective re-appropriation of the city and moments of sociality and fun for every age group. With this objective, on the occasion of the first ecological Sunday, we wanted to create a great city event with a program of musical and dance shows, street band performances, performances by student bands, shows for children and environmental dissemination workshops which will be held from 10am to 7pm in the magnificent setting of Via dei Fori Imperiali", declares Sabrina Alfonsi, councilor for Agriculture, Environment and Waste Cycle of Rome capital.
