And therefore, he says, “the possibility of creating new services and value, and therefore benefits for citizens”.
The idea, Montefiori continues, is “building an ecosystem, a large platform of services able to integrate into a logic of macrocommunity everything that happens within a territory and give the possibility to measure, manage and control, and finally to go towards the classic three and management control:cheapness, effectiveness and efficiency”.
The Maggioli Group, the pro manager Alberto Casanova, within the framework of European projects aims to “have an impact that is of a social, economic, environmental, technological and also scientific nature. In recent years a lot has been invested to boost innovation and create real value".In particular, the Research and Development team collaborates daily with both public and private organizations such as research centers, universities, small and large companies and “in recent years we have been working a lot on the subject of artificial intelligence”.
The conference organized in Ecomondo on Thursday 9 November is thus an opportunity to present the latest projects developed by the group.Among these, Casanova illustrates them, Enerman who aims to create a framework for energy sustainability management based on the collection and analysis of data coming directly from the factory's production lines.“The goal of the project is to develop a technology that allows you to have a detailed and data-based view of the use of energy in the factory, consumption and energy efficiency”, so as to give "a push towards sustainability” and offer “the opportunity to optimize industrial processes and energy efficiency. One of the distinctive factors and added value of the project is the context in which it was tested, because Enerman has been validated in several European countries with eight use cases in three different sectors:automotive, metallurgy and food”.
Other sustainability projects of which the Maggioli Group is a partner and which are present at Ecomondo include Genera, Tec4maases, Plooto and Factlog. Then, Montefiori said, “innovation cannot be done by improvising and we as R&D of the Maggioli Group apply ourselves to European projects because they serve us for multiple objectives. On the one hand, they are high-tech projects that bring new technological skills to the company and “ensure that we are always on the frontier of innovation from a technical point of view”.Then there, he concludes, “the theme of projects that concern the ability to learn knowledge about new application domains and new themes“.
