ROME – Western Europe is preparing for the arrival of a new wave of bad weather expected this week.Storm Ciaran will hit Great Britain, Ireland, Northern Spain and western France between Thursday 2 and Friday 3 November, with torrential downpours and gusts of wind potentially exceeding 130-150 km/h.High alert for the risk of flooding in the United Kingdom, where just a week ago storm Babet brought entire communities to their knees.

THE CIARAN STORM IN ITALY
