The Jj4 bear will be transferred to Germany

At the moment, the animal is located at Casteller in Trento.His new refuge is being prepared in the Black Forest

ROME - The Jj4 bear will soon be moved to Germany, to the Black Forest. This was announced by the organization that is preparing its refuge:the alternative park for bears and wolves, the Alternativer Wolf-und Bärenpark Schwarzwald.A performance suitable for most people is currently under construction.high safety standards, in which JJ4 will be hosted away from the paths of visitors”.

Jj4, at this moment, is hosted at the Casteller, in the spaces of the alpine fauna recovery center in Trento.Last July 15th, the Council of State accepted the animal rights activists' appeal and canceled the request for euthanasia made the day after Andrea Papi's death. The young runner was running in the woods of the Valle del Sole when he was attacked by the animal.The bear had been captured together with her cubs, then released into the wild because they were considered capable of surviving on their own.
