Fortunately, yesterday the ordinance of the Mayor of San Benedetto dei Marsi introduced limitations on circulation and pursuit, and the situation has calmed down a bit.Capture is extremely difficult because we are talking about two bears that cannot be captured with traditional methods (Aldrich snare, tube trap or teleanesthesia).It is strongly necessary to proceed with their capture by reducing stress as much as possible, in order to then be able to understand their general health conditions and decide what to do.We are operating according to the operational protocols approved by the Ministry of the Environment and Energy Security, subject to the opinion of ISPRA, with whom we are in continuous contact, and we have also contacted international technicians, experts in the recovery of orphaned puppies, with whom in past years we we are confronted.
