For the event, entitled Moving the world forward (projecting the world forward), Timberland has chosen a symbolic date:that of Thursday 22 April, World Earth Day, when, at 10:00 am, the talk will be broadcast online on www.orefici11.com (and the following day in podcast on Spotify).
The physical location of the talk will be, this time too multi-brand store OREFICI11 of Milan, where guests will share concrete experiences and projects, which will highlight how the commitment to sustainability cannot be the result of an individual effort, but requires a collective commitment and an effective dialogue between businesses and communities in order to have significant effects.

Community and regenerative agriculture, the themes of the Timberland talk

The calendar of the new workshops organized by Legambiente Lombardia and Timberland in Cascina Nascosta will start with the first two appointments scheduled for the month of May and will continue until autumn.
The first workshop will be dedicated to natural cooking, therefore to the topic ofnatural nutrition, and it will take place on May 15th and 22nd, from 10 to 11.30.It will be an opportunity for all participants to learn and deepen their knowledge the value of natural and organic food, learn about the properties of fruit, vegetables and legumes and their use in the kitchen.A producer who participates in the Cascina Nascosta organic market will also share valuable advice.During the laboratory you will learn to use food waste, to recognize herbs from natural environments using them as ingredients and to combine seasonings and aromatic plants.There will also be an opportunity to test yourself by preparing some bagged recipes to take home and savoring a fresh spring salad together.
The second workshop, scheduled on May 16th and 23rd, from 10 to 11.30, will be dedicated tourban gardening and will allow all participants to create your own eco-vegetable garden.Thanks to the precious advice of some experts, you will learn how to grow food in the city, creating small urban gardens on balconies and windowsills, in an ecological way and without chemicals.In addition to the secrets on soil preparation and the choice of vegetables and aromatic plants, we will also talk about insects useful for vegetation and the possibility of having a small hive.
