Eco-sustainability and the future return as protagonists in the heart of the eternal city.Everything is ready in Rome for the fourth edition of Rom-E, the event dedicated to sustainability in all its many forms, which will enliven the city center a Piazza Mignanelli and along Viale delle Magnolie in Villa Borghese.The appointment is set for 4 to 6 October, with a rich program of events designed to raise public awareness on crucial issues for the protection of our planet.

On October 4th we will meet at the Rom-E Talk

The festival will kick off on October 4 with an open-door conference at House of cinema in Villa Borghese, a few steps from the exhibition areas of the event.We will talk about environment and sustainability, with a particular look at the sea and how some large groups are working towards increasingly green mobility, starting from the situation in Italy seen through the data of theNational observatory on sustainable lifestyle of LifeGate, presented by the chief mobility editor Roberto Sposini.The topic will also be addressed food and sustainability to understand how to improve the future of the agri-food supply chain through a new model of sustainable nutrition, thanks to the presentation of the OnFoods Foundation project (University of Parma and La Sapienza University).The conference, moderated by the director of Auto magazine Andrea Brambilla, is open doors: you can sign up at this link.

On 5 and 6 October the green exhibition in the center of Rome

On 5 and 6 October the event will continue with the green exhibition in the center of Rome dedicated to sustainability.Companies that have made environmental responsibility their primary objective will have the opportunity to present their cutting-edge initiatives and solutions to address current environmental challenges.Starting from new mobility with exhibition of electric vehicles and test drives to which it will be possible to register for free.Citizens, students and representatives of companies and institutions will have the opportunity to discover innovative products and services, sustainable projects and creative ideas:the exhibition aims to inspire and encourage the public to support acircular economy and to make informed choices.

There are many initiatives to involve children and entertain the public.The artist will be present Lady Be with its eco-mosaics made with waste materials, while Gemar Balloons – the largest producer of natural rubber latex balloons in Europe – has created installations exclusively for Rom-E with 100% bio-based balloons and products with rubber.For the little ones the activities will return IoGiocOvunque, with itinerant wooden games handcrafted with natural materials.

Rom-E is sponsored by the Ministry of the Environment and Energy Security, La Sapienza University of Rome, the Onfoods Foundation and Earth Day;it is also supported by the Department of Agriculture, Environment and Waste Cycle which will provide all the greenery foreseen in the setting up of the event, by the Department of Major Events, Sport, Tourism and Fashion and by the Department of Mobility.The media partners of the event are LifeGate, which will also bring its experience to the conference on 4 October, Renewable matter, Auto, Corriere dello sport-stadio, Tuttosport and Rds 100% grandi successos.
