Sustainability, circularity and ecological transition are the themes at the center of Life talks “Sustainable territories:a joint venture", organized by A2A and scheduled for next October 29th at 6:00 pm a.m Palermo, at Grand Hotel Piazza Borsa (via dei Cartari, 18).On this occasion, the Life company will present its Territorial sustainability report of Sicily, which reports the Group's environmental, economic and social performance in the area and its activity plans expected for the next few years.We will also talk about the inauguration, scheduled for the following day, of the wind and photovoltaic systems Matarocco And Mazara del Vallo, a new step that demonstrates A2A's commitment to the Sicilian territory, where it is already present with systems and services.

The results achieved by A2A in Sicily in the economic, environmental and social fields of the territory

Through the territorial sustainability reports, A2A documents and communicates annually to its stakeholders i results achieved in the economic, environmental and social fields in a specific territory, in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and through a narrative that develops along three key words:planet, people and prosperity.The Palermo meeting – open to the public and hosted by Tessa Gelisio – will open, after the institutional greetings of the Mayor of Palermo Roberto Lagalla, with an intervention by Manuela Baudana, Head of Sustainability Development of A2A, who will present the formula and objectives of the Life Talks in the area.Subsequently Renato Mazzoncini, CEO of A2A, will talk about the main highlights of Sicily's territorial sustainability report.

Mazzoncini will also be the protagonist in the following round table, which includes a discussion with Roberto Di Mauro, Councilor for Energy and Public Utilities of the Sicilian Region, Paolo Amenta, President of Anci Sicilia, e Luca Bianchi, General Director of Svimez.The virologist will close the event Ilaria Capua, with a speech on the theme "Circular health, a way of thinking", to highlight the extent to which our health depends on the health of the environment in which we live.
