ROME - The first real cold of the season is (finally) arriving. A cold flow of arctic-continental air from Russia will arrive in Italy over the weekend.The meteorologists of IlMeteo.it reported the news and explained:“After a Saturday 9 November in the name of atmospheric stability, with the exception of some rain on the two Major Islands, with an overall mild climate, from Sunday 10 November cold air will arrive, which will flow into our country with sharp winds of Bora and Grecale making temperatures literally collapse in all of our regions".Then watch out for precipitation:“On the Adriatic side (Abruzzo, Molise and Puglia) snow up to relatively low altitudes cannot be ruled out for the period (around 1000 metres), accompanied by intense winds from the northern quadrants.On the coasts, however, thunderstorms may occur with the risk of even local hailstorms:this is due to the strong contrasts between completely different air masses.We will therefore encounter one first serious outbreak with purely winter characteristics which will then pave the way for a second cold impulse expected over the next week."
