Urban sustainability and marine biodiversity.And also ecological transition, circularity of resources and adaptation to climate change.A2A's Life Talks “Sustainable territories:a joint venture" arrives in Liguria, with a new moment of discussion open to the public and dedicated to fundamental issues for the protection of our planet.
The Liguria Territorial Sustainability Report will be presented
The appointment is scheduled for Friday 15 November at 12pm Rapallo, at the Excelsior Palace Hotel in Via S.Michael, 8.On this occasion A2A will present the first Territorial sustainability report of Liguria, which reports the Group's environmental, economic and social performance in the area and its activity plans expected for the next few years.The day will open at 9 am with Multi-stakeholder forum (closed door meeting) which includes two working tables in which selected stakeholders will discuss two key issues:the ESG compliance of the suppliers and companies with which the Group works and the protection of biodiversity in the territories in which it is present, with the aim of identifying concrete actions to accelerate the ecological transition.
Starting from 12, the author and television presenter will open and lead the meeting open to the public Tessa Gelisio.John Comboni, vice president of A2A, will talk about the Group's commitment as a Life Company and its sustainability strategy.
The link between human activities and the health of the sea
During the next talk Filippo Agazzi, CEO of Aprica, a company of the A2A Group which manages environmental services in the Tigullio basin, will present the territorial sustainability report for Liguria.Then, in the debate that will see him as the protagonist together with Emilio Mancuso, marine biologist, educator and president of VerdeAcqua e Michele Governatori, electricity manager of Ecco Climate Think Tank, the link between urban sustainability and marine biodiversity.
Our cities, in fact, have a significant impact on the health of the sea.Investing in energy transition and ecological can contribute to increasing the sustainability of our urban centres;at the same time, decisively embarking on this path can also contribute to the protection of marine biodiversity, which is essential for life on our planet.The event will be concluded by the science communicator Ruggero Rollini, with a speech entitled “A different biodiversity”.
