Check that there are no exposed and damaged cables. Rather than spend the next 20-30 minutes trying to cover the cord with embroidery thread only to find it's broken, check its condition first.Throw away any broken pair of headphones and buy a new one.

Divide the thread in 3.
- Division by three is recommended, but if you want you can divide it into several parts.

Weave. Cross the thread of one color with the thread of another color.After that, cross it under the third.Pull the thread through the loop and continue upwards.

Continue weaving the cord in the same manner another 10-15 times.

Take another colored thread and perform the same operation over the other threads.. Hold the headphone wire in the middle so that it is completely wrapped around the wires.

Start again from the point where the headphone cable splits and reach the other earphone.
- Tie a double knot and begin wrapping the three strands together with the headphone cable in between.

- New pair of headphones or old pair of headphones not tangled.
- Embroidery thread of various colors, even up to three colors for the simplest knots;you'll need enough wire to triple cover the headphone cable you want to wrap.
- Adhesive tape;After the initial knot, you will need to stabilize the earphones on a hard surface.
- Clip to secure the headset wire to a clipboard (optional).
