Here's how to tie a Scoubidou square knot.If you are first starting to weave Scoubidou, this is a good beginner's knot.

Connect the laces together in the middle.

Place the bottom red lace over the top red lace. Do the same with the green string, except use the top string.

Put the red string, the one on the side, over the red eyelet. Then thread it through the green eyelet.

Do the same with the green loop on the side.

Tighten by pulling.

Put the green string on top, as shown in the photo.

Thread the red string through the green eyelet.

8Tighten by pulling. Continue knotting in the same way until you reach the desired length.Advertising

1Make two eyelets with the same color.
- Bend the closest string diametrically opposite you to make a loop.
- Fold the other string closest to you to make a loop opposite you.

2Thread the string on your right past the first loop. Then pass it through the second eyelet.
