Instead of putting a traditional bonsai plant on display on your table, dare with something truly unique and different.Rather than the traditional bonsai tree, stand out from the crowd and stand out by displaying unique and different objects. With a bit of thread, some beads or semiprecious stones and a jar, you can create a work of art.
  1. Prepare nine to twelve 24 gauge wires. Establish the final height of your tree, multiply the height measurement by 2.5 cm (for example, you want a tree 30cm high, the copper wires must be at least 75cm long.
  2. Keep a ring at the bottom (maybe you can use your fingers), wrap the two vertical sections together to secure the ring.(The roots will take shape from this ring).
  3. Start rolling these loops individually, then divide them again and continue rolling the threads until a system resembling tree roots is created. In the final part of each root there will be mini rings which with the use of shears you will cut the rings to create the terminal part of the roots.
  4. To create the first half of the tree, carefully roll up the 18 copper wires (you can also use 9) of the tree or 24 to create a stem. Go forward a few centimeters, to where you want to make the lowest branch. At this point, take four elements and separate them from the rest of the bunch. It is not essential that these four elements are close together - in fact, you will get a better effect if you take two threads arranged in opposite positions to each other.
  5. You will have to roll them a few centimeters.
  6. Twist the other two copper wires together as well.Check that there is some balance between the height of the first bunch, the width of the first bunch at the first "branch" and the rest of the bunch.
  7. Add beads or hard pearls if you prefer.Place the tree in a nice container, which can highlight it.

Advice

  • After having pulled out the two wires to create a branch, try twisting the ends into circles and then attach them to the branch to make leaves.
  • The tree can be presented alone or could be glued to a piece of wood or rock for a more thoughtful display of the work.
