How to Clean a Glass Pipe

Do you have a glass pipe that needs cleaning?Below are two methods to quickly and easily clean your glass pipe at home.

Method 1

Holding the pipe upside down, gently tap it sideways to push out even the smallest particles.
Place the pipe inside the bag, making sure the pipe is completely submerged in the alcohol.
Close the plastic bag and leave the pipe immersed in the alcohol for 8-10 hours.
Rinse thoroughly under cold water, and then use a pipe cleaner or cotton swab to remove any excess residue.

Method 2 of 2:

Place it on the stove and bring to the boil.Let it boil slowly.

Place the pipe in the saucepan. Make sure the pipe is completely submerged in the water.
- Make sure you have removed any excess material first by turning the pipe upside down and tapping it on the side.

Leave the pipe to soak for 20-30 minutes in boiling water. Remove the pan from the heat, remove all the water, and check the pipe for excess material.
- You may need to repeat this with another pan of clean water until the pipe is thoroughly cleaned.
Let the pipe dry completely before using it again.

The boiling water method may fill your kitchen/house with a strong odor.
Never put a cold pipe in boiling water, as it may shatter.Warm it up with your hands first.
Be sure to wash the saucepan thoroughly after you finish using it.
