There are several techniques for making a crochet leaf and they are mostly easy to make.The type of leaf suitable for your work depends mainly on the style you are looking for.

    • Use a knitting needle to weave the excess tail into the back of the leaf, securing it.

• For tie a slip knot:
  • Cross the thread attached to the hook with the unattached end, creating a loop.
  • Push the attached side of the thread into this loop from the bottom, creating a second loop.Tighten the first buttonhole to secure the second.
  • Insert the hook into the second loop and tighten the thread around it.
• For a chain stitch:
  • Wrap the attached portion of the yarn around the end of the hook.
  • Pull this thread through the buttonhole to complete the stitch.
• For a low top:
  • Insert the crochet hook into the indicated point.
  • Take the thread with the hook and pull through the right side of the stitch.
  • Throw the yarn onto the hook.
  • Pull this thread through both buttonholes to complete the stitch.
• Half high point:
  • Throw away the thread, then insert it into the designated place.
  • Throw the thread again and pull it from the wrong side, from the back to the front of the shirt.
  • Yarn over again and pull it through all 3 buttonholes to finish.
• For a high top:
  • Throw away the thread.
  • Insert the hook into the indicated stitch.
  • Take the thread with the hook and pull it from the back to the front of the stitch.You will end up with 3 loops on the hook.
  • Wrap the yarn around the crochet hook and then insert it through the first two loops.
  • Throw the yarn over again and pass it through the last 2 buttonholes to complete the stitch.
• Very tall shirt:
  • Throw the yarn twice.
  • Insert the hook into the indicated stitch.
  • Wrap the yarn around the hook and pull it through the front of the stitch.
  • Throw the thread again and pull it through 2 loops.
  • Throw it again and pull it through 2 more loops.
  • Throw it over one more time and pull it through the last two buttonholes to complete the stitch.
• Make a slip stitch:
  • Insert the hook into the established point.
  • Throw away the thread.
  • Pull it through all the loops gathered on the hook to complete the stitch.
