Steps
-
Get a piece of clothing or fabric, preferably white cotton, dye, some rubber bands (the number of rubber bands needed depends on the number of circles you want to create), and a small amount of soap. Set up a work surface near a sink.
-
Rinse the fabric with soap and water, then wring it out.
-
Pinch 2 or 3 centimeters of fabric in the center of the garment. Tie it securely with one of the rubber bands.
-
Continue and add the other elastics, one under the other, spacing them about 2 or 3 centimeters. Add the desired number of elastics, they will create circular design patterns on the fabric.
-
Follow the instructions on the dye package and immerse the fabric in the mixture of boiling water and dye (use salt as described in the directions).
-
Rinse the garment in clean water. Continue until the rinse water is completely clear. Then wring out the fabric.
-
Hang your garment to air dry.Advertising
