No natural cause, bears MJ5 and F36 were killed by man

ROME – No natural death, it was the hand of man that killed the two bears MJ5 and F36.This is what emerges from the papers of the Trento prosecutor's office with which the prosecutor requested the dismissal of the complaint of manslaughter against Maurizio Fugatti, president of the province of Trento and Antonio Maini, mayor of Caldes, regarding the death of Andrea Papi.

AIDAA:MJ5 AND F36 BEARS WERE KILLED, NOW NEW INVESTIGATIONS

“A new complaint to ask for new investigations that lead to the identification of the instigators and the murders of the Mj5 and F36 bears killed according to what emerges from the documents of the Trento Prosecutor's Office.the Italian Association for the Defense of Animals and the Environment with this new judicial initiative requests that they be found and punished according to the law for the violation of article 544 of the penal code with the aggravating circumstance of violence, for the violation of the law for the protection of wild fauna and for the crime of poaching as codified by articles 30 and 31 of law 157 of 1992 regarding illicit hunting activities.Finally, in the complaint, the animal rights activists will mention the names and surnames of the groups they believe to be the moral instigators who, with their incitements, led to the killing of these two bears."This is what we read in a note from Aidaa.

ITALIAN ANIMALISTS:MJ5 AND F36 VICTIMS OF HATRED TOWARD WILDLIFE

“We learn from the articles published today in local Trentino newspapers that MJ5, the bear that came into contact with a man in Val di Rabbi in March 2023 and whose body was found last October, was probably killed by a firearm.Furthermore, F36, the bear who followed two hikers in July 2023 and whose body was found two months later, died 'due to third parties'.Both animals were therefore most likely victims of human violence."For Walter Caporale, president of Italian Animalists, "these bears were victims of the climate of hatred fomented by the provincial administration of Trento, by President Fugatti and by the current government which declared war on wildlife, subservient to the interests of the hunting lobby .Instead of disseminating correct information to guarantee the safety of citizens and bears, the President of the Province of Trento has exploited the animals for political purposes."In light of what emerged today regarding the death of the two bears, Animalisti Italiani "will evaluate, through its lawyers, the legal action to be carried out, to ensure that all responsibility is ascertained and guarantee justice for these animals".
