THE SEA DEVIL
The Mediterranean manta ray, or sea devil, is a species widespread in the Mediterranean Sea.It can grow up to 5 meters.Like all members of the Myliobatidae family it is characterized by 'two horns', or two cephalic appendages which it uses to convey food.Due to the pollution of the seas and the accidental fishing to which it is a victim, the Mediterranean manta ray is classified as a species threatened with extinction in the IUCN red list.
