The winners of the photography contest created to celebrate pets and promote their well-being will be announced on August 11th

Funny, awkward, but always sweet.The 25 finalist photographs have been selected Comedy Pet Photo Awards, the annual competition that celebrates the funniest photos of four-legged friends.The prize competition was established by two English photographers, Paul Joynson-Hicks and Tom Sullam, “to celebrate the positive and vital role that pets play in our lives and to encourage commitment to animal welfare”, as well as creators of the photo contest Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards, in which the most curious and funny shots are rewarded, but focusing on wildlife and its conservation.Among this year's finalists there is something for all tastes, from the sulky cat observing the sea, to the dog that throws itself in front of the people posing ready to have their photo taken on the bench, through to the turtle that furtively eat a beautiful flower.Comedy Pet 2023 winners will be announced on August 11.
