Becoming Education is an educational reality that aims to transform the way children and young people grow and learn.Founded by Antonio Salvo, business manager passionate about education, together with Cinzia D'Alessandro, pedagogist, trainer and expert in outdoor education, the academy - as the name itself suggests - adopts an "in progress" approach that does not educate but transforms, offering a model that goes beyond traditional teaching.To embrace a holistic vision of growth and learning.

The objectives of Becoming Education

Becoming Education's mission is clear: form into being.This means providing children and young people with the necessary tools to become aware, responsible human beings capable of realizing their life project.The objective is to educate citizens with emotional mastery, ecological awareness and respect for differences.This commitment translates into an education that values ​​individuality and promotes personal growth through positive and meaningful life experiences.The vision of Becoming Education is to create an educating community where each individual is part of an ever-evolving social fabric, oriented towards respect and responsibility.

The educational project brings together a network of nurseries, nursery schools, primary and secondary schools.Today it matters eleven structures, one hundred and seventy employees, more than a thousand children enrolled.It is inspired by the pedagogical manifesto "Una scuola", by Francesca Antonacci and Monica Guerra, which considers learning as a dynamic and engaging process that goes beyond the traditional confines of the classroom.

The proposed model aims to create an educational community in strong relationship with the territory and in connection with the environment.This approach is based on the belief that education is a tool for social change which generates opportunities for all those involved:children, teenagers, parents and teachers.The emphasis is placed on continuous training, on constant discussion between professionals and on the construction of a strong, passionate and competent educational community.There sustainability is integrated into every aspect of school life:from the design of spaces to the choice of educational activities, creating an educational context that reflects and promotes values ​​of respect and care for the environment.

Open and stimulating structures, bilingualism starting from nursery school

Becoming Education operates in Milan, Monza Brianza, Modena and Varese.Sometimes it acquires and transforms existing kindergartens or schools, other times it establishes new ones, immediately based on its values, starting from the choice of spaces.In fact, each structure is designed to be a welcoming and stimulating context, where children and young people can explore, learn and develop their skills.They are living places, mobile and open to transformation, structured to support the declarations of the educational project through dynamic spaces that are capable of instilling warmth.

THE'English, introduced from nursery school, becomes a language with which children play, debate and think.The bilingualism it is considered a fundamental resource for the cognitive and emotional development of children, offering them the opportunity to understand and interact with the world from different perspectives.Equally central is the creativity which encourages children to discover, invent and imagine through various languages ​​and contexts.

In addition to school activities in the strict sense, the premises also host a wide range of courses and activities for children (English, yoga, music and other artistic activities courses) e adults (pediatric first aid, safe sleep, courses to strengthen the parent-child relationship, pet education).

Becoming Education promotes a transparent and collaborative relationship with i parents, involving them in the educational project through participation in events and through the constant sharing of documents.But for mothers and fathers, feeling an integral part of the school community means above all finding answers to the growth needs of their children and their parenting, thanks to an approach that provides skills and clarifications regarding their role.

At the same time, Becoming Education also proposes itself as partner for the design and management of nursery schools and nursery schools in the context of new real estate developments.One of the most significant examples is The garden of Bez, the nursery designed and managed by Cinzia D'Alessandro in coordination with the structures of the former BPM, now Banco BPM, awarded in 2009 by the Lombardy region as the best reality to support parents.For the corporate population of Banco BPM Becoming Education has developed numerous initiatives, including a calendar of meetings with growth experts and a pedagogical helpdesk service and support for returning to the company.Another case of collaboration with companies dates back to the lockdown, when Becoming Education supplied the supplier with electricity and gas Engie a pedagogical help desk aimed at mothers and fathers, also organizing a virtual challenge dedicated to children.
