The scent of cinnamon enriches the cherry clafoutis with an oriental scent, while the contrast stimulates the taste in a tantalizing way.
Ingredients
- 600 g cherries
- 100 g white flour type 00
- 200 ml vegetable cream
- 100 ml cow's milk
- 50 g cane sugar
- 3 egg
- 1 walnuts butter
- powdered sugar
- ground cinnamon
- salt
Preparation
Start preparing the cherry clafoutis by washing the cherries, then remove the stalk and the hazelnut cutting the cherry in half and pulling it out or placing each cherry over the mouth of a bottle, pushing on the cherry with a chopstick until the stone falls into the bottle.
Place the pitted cherries in a greased, oven-safe baking tray (approximately 20-24 cm in diameter) with rather low edges.Preheat the oven at 180°C.In the meantime, in a bowl combine flour, sugar, eggs, cream, milk, a pinch of salt and cinnamon.
Mix everything well with a whisk until you obtain a smooth batter, then pour it over the cherries, sprinkle with more cinnamon powder and bake for about 40 minutes.
When the surface of the cherry clafoutis is golden, take it out of the oven, let it cool a little, sprinkle it with icing sugar and enjoy it immediately.
