Simple and tasty, the feta recipe with courgette flowers, honey and pine nuts is perfect as a substantial appetizer.
Ingredients
- 400 g feta
- 8 courgette flowers
- thin honey or agave syrup
- breadcrumbs
- grated parmesan
- pine nuts
- fresh thyme
- olive oil extra virgin
- salt and pepper
Preparation
Start preparing the roasted feta with courgette flowers, honey and pine nuts by peeling and washing gently the flowers, from which you will eliminate the central pistil, then always dry them delicately and brown them for a minute in a pan with a drizzle of oil sprinkled with a dusted of breadcrumbs and grated parmesan.
Then remove them from the heat.
Cut to squares the feta, dry it and leave it to roast in a pan greased with a little oil for a few minutes, then place a courgette flower on each square, sprinkle with a generous handful of pine nuts, add some honey (or agave syrup) and some thyme.
Immediately remove from the heat, season with freshly ground pepper and serve the roasted feta with courgette flowers, still warm and soft.
